How much does it cost to advertise? This is where View Dojo digital signage really comes into focus. The cost of roadside billboards ranges greatly based on location. Estimated between $500 and $15,000 per month for a single location. With View Dojo, we know the value is in our multi location network. We can put you on every screen in our network, which is soon to be over 50 screens in Baldwin County AL, for only $199 per month with no contract. Our digital signs are in key locations where people spend time such as restaurants, nail salons, gyms, grocery stores, doctors’ offices, etc. There is no comparison when it comes to value and reach. Do I pay more everytime you add a new screen location to my region?Absolutely not. You pay the same low rate all the time. If we install 20 more screen locations in your market during that time, you will benefit from the additional advertising impressions for the same rate. The only time we would increase the price of our subscripion is when demand calls for a waiting list to be on the network. We strive to maintain the lowest rates possible in order to offer our service to local small businesses as well as the larger corporations.

What is the difference between your digital signage and digital billboards on the roadsides?Trick question: Do you know why roadside billboards are so large? So they get our attention? Nope. Humans are very alert, especially when driving down the freeway. The truth is those signs could be half the size and we would still see them. They are that large so that we can process them quickly and safely. If the roadside billboards were the size of a 65-inch tv, you would most likely still see it, but making it legible while driving 70 Mph would not be realistic. When it comes to OOH “out-of-home” marketing (which is everything that is not absorbed from your TV, cell phone, tablet or radio), multiple locations are key. If you purchase a large roadside billboard, it is recommended (by the billboard companies) that it become legible at 100 yards away (1 football field). If your potential customers are traveling at 70 Mph, this gives them only 3 seconds to process your ad. If this was the only billboard purchased, it will accomplish nothing.

What exactly is brand awareness and how does it differ from targeted marketing? How do they differ? Are they the same thing called by two different names? Direct marketing is when a company knows exactly who they want to target. They are going to focus their efforts on one specific demographic, such as children. For example, Kid pools, water toys, slip-n-slides, bubbles, etc. Kids (nor their parents) remember the brand of these products. Here, brand does not matter much. The company focuses on vibrant packaging, “cool” tv ads, and catchy package phrases such as, “2-person Slip-N-Slide racer! Over 50 feet of high-speed water action!” These things catch kids and the brand is not a concern. Brand Awareness, in a way, is the opposite. With brand awareness you are not targeting a specific group or demographic, you are creating a reference point in some one’s mind. You also want to reach people who never thought they would need your product or service. Such as attorneys, real estate agents, roofing companies, plumbers, etc. None of us plan on needing a roofer, but might consider calling the guy who has nice, professional ads everywhere we go in town. This could also be said for places you never thought you would visit. Such as “Mama’s Southern Cuisine restaurant” when those out of state relatives visit and want to try real southern food. How about a Grandma wanting to spend the day at a Go Kart track? Not likely, but when those grandkids come over, guess what… Grandma has been seeing a great place to take them thanks to brand awareness.
